Modification MSC Opera

From May 2015 to June 2015 Carpensalda has again participated at the "Renaissance" project conducted by MSC and FINCANTIERI. This project consist in modifying the cruise ship, separating the bow from the stern and stretching it of 24 meters, creating in this way an interior space for the insertion of a central section of a new building.

Carpensalda has performed a turnkey job of ship conversion relative to the extension of MSC Opera; in particular Carpensalda took care of Lot 3 which includes the bridges 6,7 and 8. The total weight of the work done is of 355 tons.
